Start with one clear subject

A useful reference makes the face easy to inspect: one person, eyes visible, even light and enough upper body to show the outfit. Use a photo you have permission to transform. The current form accepts an image under 8MB; if it cannot preview the file, export a fresh JPEG or PNG.

Light and sharpness

Crop a group photo safely

  1. Open a copy of your photo in your usual image editor. Keep the original.
  2. Crop to the person you want, leaving the head, shoulders and some space around them.
  3. Check that the face remains sharp; a tiny face in a large group shot is a weak reference.
  4. Save as JPEG or PNG, check that the file is under 8MB, then select it in the homepage form.

Selection creates a browser preview; it does not submit a paid generation. Photo drafts are stored in this browser, and can be removed from the form.

People, characters and pets

Use your own portrait or one with permission. The current account flow does not demonstrate likeness, character or pet-generation quality. A pet or original character idea needs its own model test before you can rely on it. Avoid treating a human prompt as evidence that pet anatomy will work.
